INTERESTS:

I own a property and adjoining land within Bagnall Parish. I also own a field at another location within the parish.

BACKGROUND:

Originally from Manchester, moved to Bagnall 16 years ago from Ynys Mon. Since arriving in Bagnall I have been Treasurer and yearly volunteer committee member for Bagnall Fete. I was Chair of Bagnall Village Hall Charity for several years.

I was a voluntary partner in setting up, financing and running a young persons youth club for ADVANTAGED children in an affluent area of Cheshire . This group of young people have needs that are ignored by other state agencies who believe that only disadvantaged young people need help and assistance in life.

I worked for Age UK as a volunteer for 10 years helping people with money issues usually caused by dementia, bereavement etc .

Most recently, until ‘retirement’, developed a Property Management company together with an interest in Holiday lettings.

Previously employed for a number of years by an International Bank latterly concurrently managing teams in several locations providing IT Service Development, management services and technical expertise to other large companies in the UK and Europe.

Prior to this employment I worked for 5 years in Mine Explosion Research (Cannot say anymore as I am bound by the Official Secrets Act!)
